Advancing Competitive Integrated Employment through Managed Long-Term Services & Supports & Value-Based Payment Methodologies by Creating and Sustaining Partnerships with Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and Other Stakeholders
Good morning colleagues,
The AoD Disability Employment TA Center's National Community of Practice (CoP) webinar, "Advancing Competitive Integrated Employment through Managed Long-Term Services & Supports & Value-Based Payment Methodologies by Creating and Sustaining Partnerships with Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and Other Stakeholders", will be hosted Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 3:00-4:30 P.M. Eastern Time. Come join the DETAC for a webinar focused on the use and benefits of value, performance, and outcome-based payment methodologies to advance competitive integrated employment (CIE) within managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) programs. Hear examples from both new and long-standing state MLTSS programs. Learn about proactive partnerships that have helped create effective payment methodologies to advance CIE opportunities and outcomes for people with disabilities receiving MLTSS. Webinar participants will get a better understanding of the current approach to advancing CIE in MLTSS programs across the country and will get the opportunity to learn how and why AoD grantees are advocating for the creation of sustainable partnerships to design and implement value, performance, and outcome-based payment methodologies to advance CIE for individuals with disabilities. Attendees will hear from a veteran MLTSS organization, Inclusa Inc., that is paving the way to CIE for people with disabilities through their unique value, performance, and outcome-based payment models. Finally, a self-advocate will share their experience with MLTSS by highlighting their journey to CIE. In addition, there will be Office Hours on February 11, 2022, from 12:00-1:30 PM Eastern Time. (Stay tuned for a Google Meet info coming soon).
