Leadership & Career Studies–L&CS–is a four-year college experience for students with intellectual disability or intellectual disability and autism. The program is run by the Institute on Disabilities at Temple University. OPEN HOUSE Tuesday, December 7, 2021 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE L&CS OPEN HOUSE Students in L&CS take college courses, develop a college and career learning plan, and participate in social and extracurricular activities, all with the support of peer mentors—current Temple students. As a student in L&CS, you can:

  • develop academic, career, and personal skills

  • build independence

  • grow as a productive citizen in the community

If you:

  • have intellectual disability or intellectual disability and autism (documented in the county where you live);

  • are 18-26 years old;

  • can pay for classes through service funds, grants or privately;

  • can commute to Temple’s main campus;

  • can attend day and evening classes; and

  • can participate in extracurricular activities at least 10 hours a week,

…then you can apply to attend college at Temple University in L&CS.
